The Clare Valley's signature festival
The Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend is the region's flagship event, held each May since the 1980s. Cellar doors across the valley throw open their gates for a weekend of food matched to wine, live music, masterclasses and long-table feasts among the vines.
Each winery hosts its own program - from degustations and producer collaborations to relaxed live-music sessions - and a festival pass lets you roam between them. It's the busiest and most joyful weekend on the Clare calendar, so book accommodation and lunches well ahead.
