Penna Lane Wines

A cellar door perched in the Skilly Hills above Penwortham, with sweeping valley views and a relaxed picnic-friendly setting.

Penna Lane is all about the view. The cellar door sits high in the Skilly Hills behind Penwortham, looking out across a patchwork of vineyards and gum-studded ridges - one of the prettiest tasting outlooks in the region.

The wines lean into the cooler, elevated site: zesty Riesling, lifted Shiraz and a Semillon that's well worth seeking out. There's a grassy area to spread a picnic rug and platters available, making it an easy place to linger on a sunny afternoon.

The winding drive up from the Riesling Trail is part of the charm. Bring a hat, grab a glass and settle in for the view.
