Sevenhill Creek winds through the centre of the Clare Valley's wine country, lending its name and its water to the historic Sevenhill district. The creek corridor brings welcome greenery and shade among the vines.
Sections run close to the Riesling Trail, giving walkers and cyclists pleasant, leafy stretches between cellar doors. It's an easy place to pause in the shade on a warm tasting day.
The surrounding area, home to Sevenhill Cellars and the historic St Aloysius Church, is among the most storied in the valley.
